Ava DiCecca

Ava DiCecca is a Staff Writer for Grandstand Magazine. From Marshfield, Massachusetts, she is majoring in journalism with a concentration in sports and media. Ava is in her second year at the University of Florida and aspires to be a sports writer covering the NBA or NHL.

Ava writes for The Alligator, WRUF and Grandstand Magazine. Outside of UF, she has also held positions as a social media manager for EduKaytion Golf and College Basketball Times.

Ava enjoys playing basketball and volleyball in her free time, and her favorite athlete is Brad Marchand. She has been a Boston sports fan her whole life.
