Bob Sager

Bob Sager is a Staff Writer for Grandstand Magazine. He is a sophomore sports media student at the University of Florida.

Growing up in Brooksville, Florida, Bob always dreamed of being in the shoes of great reporters like Craig Sager or Bob Costas. At UF, Bob is an anchor for WUFT's midday newscast and a reporter for ESPN Gainesville. With aspirations of sideline reporting for the NBA or college basketball, Bob jumps at every opportunity to gain experience for the next level.

This summer, Bob plans on working for a local newspaper in his hometown. In future semesters, he hopes to report on Gators football and basketball while continuing to anchor for WUFT.

When he gets a break from school, Bob enjoys collecting sneakers, playing basketball and playing video games like NBA 2K. He also has a passion for film and traveling. Last summer, he spent two months abroad in France and ended up visiting six different countries in his time away.
