Jackson Colding

Jackson Colding is a Staff Writer for Grandstand Magazine. He is a fourth-year journalism student with a concentration in sports and media.

Jackson has previously written for WRUF and The Independent Florida Alligator. He currently freelances reports for Mainstreet Daily News, covering local Gainesville high school sports.

After graduating from the University of Florida's College of Journalism and Communication, Jackson hopes to be a beat reporter for a lower-level professional hockey team and work his way up to an NHL team. Jackson has played hockey for 10 years, which has driven his desire to become a hockey reporter. Originally from Tampa, Florida, he hopes to become a beat writer covering the Tampa Bay Lightning.
