Jessica Garcete

Jessica Garcete is a Staff Writer for Grandstand Magazine. She is a senior journalism major from Boca Raton, Florida. She has focused on motorsports reporting for the past year, with work published on WUFT News, WRUF and eNASCAR.com.

A member of the NASCAR College Program, Jessica reported from the 2025 Daytona 500, contributing on-site coverage and digital content. She has also covered NHRA’s Gatornationals and co-hosts Paddock Press, a Formula One podcast focused on F1 news and media analysis.

She will graduate in May with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a minor in leadership. After graduation, she plans to pursue a career in motorsports media and work to make the sport more inclusive and engaging for new fans.

Outside of reporting, Jessica is a devoted music-lover and frequent concert-goer. She has worked with UF’s student-run radio stations and enjoys discovering new artists.
